Not only can you create dashboards to showcase your skills as a Tableau developer in Tableau Public, but you can create an interactive resume (or cv) too! What a great way to showcase your skills by using the software.
Here are a couple of great examples I found in Tableau Public:
Example 1
The resume below is created by Rashid Minot here.
Example 2
Here is an interactive resume by Helena Dantas Pires.
Example 3
Chantel Brooke from the Data School Down Under created this resume.
Example 4
Here is an interesting resume created by Low Han Siong!
Example 5
And yes, I even created my own, which is a work in progress here .
Perform a search in Tableau Public to see other great examples by just using the word "Resume".
But what should you use in your resume? After talking to some managers, the advice I can give you is to focus on the things that a future manager would want to see. Focus on your skills and your accomplishments. There are so many articles out there on how to write a great resume. Include numbers for your accomplishments! Example: I saved the company X dollars by implementing X procedure or by streamlining the process. You can hover over the bars in my Gantt chart to see how I have outlined this.
For my dashboard example I googled resumes. As you can see I kind of formatted my dashboard after the Sherlock Holmes resume found in Resume Example website.
